East Java Corona COVID-19 Update September 19, 2020

Jakarta - Additional positive patients with COVID-19 are still significant in East Java. There were an additional 379 positive COVID-19 patients on Saturday, 19 September 2020.

Thus, the total number of positive cases of COVID-19 in East Java reached 40,372 people. The highest daily increase of positive COVID-19 patients in Surabaya reached 58 people, Jombang Regency with 39 people and Sidoarjo Regency with 31 people.

Meanwhile, 429 patients recovered in East Java. The total number of patients recovering from COVID-19 reached 32,822 people in East Java. The most number of patients recovered from COVID-19 daily was in Surabaya, which reached 190 people, in Sidoarjo Regency as many as 40 people, and Gresik Regency with 27 people.

On the one hand, 20 people died from COVID-19 in East Java. In Surabaya, there were an additional four patients who died to 1,013 people and Sidoarjo Regency increased by two to 403 people.

The number of suspected cases reached 7,405 people and 4,608 patients were treated.
