Fierce, Leeds United Beat Fulham 4-3
An additional three points has temporarily brought Leeds up to ninth in the standings with a collection of three points, while Fulham, who have not managed to pocket the points, are stuck in 19th position.
The course of the match
Last week's fine form against Liverpool continued as Leeds took their lead early on through Costa taking advantage of a corner.
However, the advantage was lost after Fulham got a penalty for a Robin Koch foul on Joe Bryan, which Mitrovic managed to execute in the 34th minute.
Seven minutes later it was the hosts' turn to win 12 kicks right after Bamford was brought down by Bryan in the area and Klich took the opportunity to bring Leeds back 2-1 up until the first half ended.
Leeds started the second half very well. Five minutes after the break, Klich sent a solid through ball Bamford completed to change the position to be 3-1.
Goalkeeper Alphonse Areola's debut in the Premier League took a turn for the worse when the net conceded a fourth goal, which Costa scored using Bamford's lure in the 57th minute.
Five minutes later, Fulham cut the distance with a charming action from Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa which was ended by Reid's strike to beat goalkeeper Illan Meslier and finished 2-4.
Entering 67 minutes, Fulham again cut the distance. Mitrovic scored his second goal to head Kenny Tete's cross from the right to reduce the deficit to 3-4.
