Jakarta Police Chief Review Mass Rapid Test at Bekasi Ponpes

Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General of Police Nana Sudjana reviewed the implementation of the mass Covid-19 rapid test at the At-Taqwa Islamic Boarding School in Ujung Harapan, Babelan, Bekasi Regency, West Java, Tuesday (4/8/2020).

Jakarta - Kapolda Metro Jaya, Inspector General of Police Nana Sudjana reviewed the implementation of the mass Covid-19 rapid test at the At-Taqwa Islamic Boarding School in Ujung Harapan, Babelan, Bekasi Regency, West Java, Tuesday ( 4/8 / 2020).

A total of 300 female and female students at the Aliyah level, as well as 200 teachers and boarding school employees participated in a rapid test that was held in the multipurpose hall. All participants seemed enthusiastic in participating in the activity initiated by the government.

Nana who was accompanied by the Bekasi Metro Police Chief, Police Commissioner Hendra Gunawan appreciated the participation of the students undergoing a rapid test, with strict health protocols.

In this effort, the Regional Police Head also delivered aid in the form of 3 tons of rice, 200 boxes of instant noodles, 55 boxes of biscuits, 60 boxes of glass noodles, and 60 boxes of mineral water. He also gave socialization related to Kamtibmas and the Covid-19 pandemic in Ponpes which was founded by KH Noer Alie.

"Metro Jaya Police are part of the community, and we will always be there for the community. Regarding the Kamtibmas situation it is our responsibility as members of the National Police," Nana said.

He hoped that the students, religious leaders and all other strata of society could contribute in bringing about security and comfort in their respective environments, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Where from an early age a strong foundation has been planted with religious teachings, so that life in society is cooler, full of tolerance, and peaceful," he added.

At-Taqwa Ponpes General Chairman, Imam Imam Fadlurrahman thanked for the visit and assistance provided by the Metro Jaya Regional Police.

"Hopefully the hospitality we build will make blessings and rewards for all of us," he said.

According to him, At-Taqwa Islamic Boarding School has principles to maintain unity and establish good relations with all people and state officials.

"May Allah give health to us and all Indonesian people and be released immediately from the co-19 pandemic," added Fadlu.

After reviewing the implementation of the rapid test, the Chief of Police took the time to the residence of KH Amien Noer, as well as a pilgrimage to the tomb of national hero KH Noer Alie.
