, Jakarta - Maruti Suzuki, the agent holder of the Suzuki brand in India is preparing a premium version of the popular Suzuki Wagon R city car for the Indian market, the Suzuki XL5 . This car has been tested several times on Indian roads. Some of the latest photos from XL5 spyshot coloring and scattered in cyberspace.

The appearance revealed that XL5 was undergoing testing with a thick body covering. This is Suzuki's attempt to cover up the design of the latest model.

This car will have a split headlamp design, an updated air intake on the front bumper, with fog lights positioned at both ends, a slim grille. On the back, there are a few minor changes to make it look a little different from the Wagon R. The Suzuki XL5 uses a 15 inch alloy wheel bigger than the Wagon R for only 13 inches, but the overall silhouette looks very similar to the Wagon R.

In the interior, the Maruti Suzuki XL5 will display the same cabin design and layout as seen in the standard Wagon R. Some of the features in XL5 include, the use of AC control and a 7.0-inch touch screen infotainment system.

Problem engine choice, the new Suzuki XL5 will likely rely on a 1.2 liter K12B gasoline engine. This engine produces 82 bhp of power and 114Nm of peak torque. This engine is combined with a five-speed manual transmission or a choice of AGS automatic gearbox. Suzuki XL5 is likely to be launched in 2021.
