Jakarta - Member of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Expert Team, Dewi Nur Aisyah, reminded the public to be aware of the transmission of Covid-19 during the long holiday at the end of October 2020.
People are asked to adhere to health protocols when visiting certain places or tourist areas during long holidays .
"Don't forget health protocols, keep your distance, wear a mask and bring a hand sanitizer," he said in a virtual talk show broadcast via YouTube BNPB Indonesia, Thursday (22/10/2020).
Dewi said, there are a number of activities during the holidays that are at high risk of being exposed to Covid-19. First, traveling to a crowded tourist spot or tourist spot. Second, go shopping to a busy store on a long holiday.
Third, participate in busy indoor meetings or events.
"Fourth, have a big dinner party with people from different neighboring houses who come from different areas," he continued.
Fifth, attend a busy parade, festival or gathering. If forced to visit or attend these activities, the public is asked to apply health protocols.
"Bring a hand sanitizer, don't hold things and then hold our faces with hands that haven't been cleaned," he said.
Previously, DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria said the best place to fill the long holiday next week is at home. Because currently DKI Jakarta is still a large-scale social restriction (PSBB) in the transitional period.

The Gerindra politician explained to minimize the spread of the corona virus or Covid-19, namely by carrying out activities at home. According to him, activities outside the home can only be carried out if there is an urgent need.
