The sad news came from Ustaz Khalid Basalamah. His beloved father, KH Zeed Abdullah Basalamah passed away. KH Zeed was buried according to the protocol for the Corona virus (COVID-19) in Makassar, South Sulawesi.

"Second, I really need the cooperation of the whole family if we follow the Government protocol, this does not mean we don't love Abah," said Ustaz Khalid through a short message application voice note as received by detikcom from Ustaz Khalid's close relative, Saturday (8/8/2020) night.

Ustaz Khalid's voice note was recorded when the famous preacher was on his way to the hospital after receiving news of his father's death. The voice note was made as a direction to the deceased's extended family so that they remain tolerant after taking care of the body of the deceased was taken over by the COVID Handling Task Force team.

"With the COVID protocol, the body will be taken care of by the hospital and will follow the protocol. After being washed, it is wrapped in a shroud and then wrapped in isolated plastic and then put in a chest," he added.

Ustaz Khalid also reminded the family that they would not take the corpse at all, as has often been the case.

"And we will not do as some people do, they forcefully take the bodies, in the end many families become victims," he said.

In the end, Ustaz Khalid said he would funnel his father's body. Other male families were encouraged to participate.

"And women don't have to be too carried away by thinking that they can no longer see Abah. The point is we will meet again in the afterlife, thank you for your attention," concluded Ustaz Khalid while greeting him.
